Alan V. Job, MD, is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon and Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Alan Job earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Northwell Health North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center, followed by a comprehensive fellowship in spine surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he received advanced training across the full spectrum of spinal surgery from complex deformity correction to minimally invasive techniques.Dr. Alan Job's expertise spans both operative and non-operative management of spinal conditions including back pain, neck pain, disc herniations, pinched nerves, sciatica, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis (spinal slippage), degenerative disc disease, spinal arthritis, spinal instability, scoliosis, kyphosis, and all degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. His special interests include minimally invasive and motion preserving spine surgery, same-day ambulatory outpatient spine procedures, and revision spine surgery. He is well-versed in complex spinal conditions including traumatic spinal injuries, spinal infections, and metastatic spinal disease. Dr. Alan Job also has extensive experience with advanced surgical technologies such as microscopic and tubular spine surgery, CT-guided navigation, robotic spine surgery, and motion-preserving techniques including cervical disc replacement, and laminoplasty.Dr. Alan Job is committed to clear communication and patient education. He partners with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that emphasizes non-operative management whenever appropriate.
